Twenty-five years ago, we received a piece of land in Aude, ten miles from Fanjeaux, a place of source or ‘origins’ for the Order of Preachers, where Saint Dominic spent ten years. This land, which bears the name of “Saint-Pierre” is now ‘the family home’ for the Community.
In this privileged place devoted to prayer and contemplation, we learn to live simply and poorly, abandoned to Providence, in fraternal communion, and humble, joyful service, with the work that is required for the upkeep of this large terrain.
Saint Pierre is a land for God where all pilgrims, friends, young people, families, and the poorest of our brothers can stop and come back to the source of the Gospel.
