One block away from the little brothers’ monastery is the little monastery “Lumen Christi”, the fraternity of the little sisters of the Lamb.

Help us build St. Joseph House

Dear Friends,

Having turned 75 this past June, I am frequently asked: “Where are you going to live, once Pope Francis accepts your resignation and appoints your successor?” After praying about this decision for some time, I shared with the Little Sisters and Little Brothers of the Lamb, my hope to live in the “Village of the Lamb” in Kansas City, Kansas.

Gratefully, the Little Sisters and Brothers were open and excited about this possibility.  I cannot imagine a better environment to deepen my own life of prayer and strengthen my Faith in the Lamb’s Victory of Life. Please pray that Our Lord, His Mother and St. Joseph will bless this effort. May Jesus, Mary and Joseph bless you and your family.

Liturgy

Every day, we celebrate our daily offices at the brothers' monastery.

We celebrate the Eucharist in the chapel of our little sisters one block away at 36 S. Boeke St. If you want to join us, you can see our Mass & Adoration Schedule or check on Masstimes.

You are also welcome to join us for Vigils (on the eve of each Solemnity or during Advent and Lent).

A Place of Grace

Next to our monastery is a place of peace, where Christmas is an eternal reality! This grotto has been blessed as an icon to accomplish miracles! You can always come and pray, to find rest for your soul, to be under the gaze of our Mother who is always giving Jesus to us, and to entrust to her maternal heart all those who are special to you and in need of intercession.
