We established our first foundation in the United States in 2008 in inner city Kansas City, Kansas. In Fall 2024, we opened a mission house in St. Joseph, Missouri, in response to Bishop James Johnston’s invitation to our community to have a regular presence in his neighboring diocese of Kansas City-Saint Joseph.

Presence in St. Joseph
We are currently present in St. Joseph one week per month, living on the grounds of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. There we live our life of prayer and go forth begging our daily bread throughout the St. Joseph area.

The Village of the Lamb in Kansas City
One hour south of St. Joseph, Missouri, in downtown KCK is the "Village of the Lamb". Within a few blocks are located the little sisters' monastery "Lumen Christi" as well as the little brothers' monastery "Light of Mary, Mother of God". In the heart of the "Village" is the Grotto: a special place of grace where many come to entrust their intentions to Mary. All are welcome to visit us in Kansas City to pray with us during our offices or daily Mass, join in an Open table lunch or make a pilgrimage to the Grotto.
