36 S Boeke St
66101 Kansas City - United States

In May 2008, at the request of Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City in Kansas, we established the first foundation of the little sisters of the Lamb in the United States in the underprivileged inner city of Kansas City, Kansas. On September 14, 2013, Lumen Christi Little Monastery (Light of Christ) was inaugurated as a place of peace and prayer in the neighborhood.
In November 2018, the little brothers of the Lamb completed the construction of their monastery, Light of Mary, Mother of God one block down the street from the little sisters, thus creating the “Village of the Lamb“!

Open Table
Once a month the Community invites those who wish, to join us at the Little Brothers’ monastery for a family style lunch, which we call “Open Table”. It typically takes place at 11:30, on the third Saturday of the month, but please call one of the little monasteries to confirm the date which may vary at times.
A Place of Grace
A block down the street from the monastery of the little sisters is that of the little brothers. Next to their little monastery is a haven of peace, where Christmas is an eternal reality! This grotto, with its icon of Christ’s Nativity, has been blessed to accomplish miracles! You may always come there to pray, to find rest for your souls, and to remain under the gaze of our Mother, she who ceaselessly offers us Jesus her son. There, we can bring to prayer all those in need of intercession, all those we hold dear, entrusting them to her maternal heart.
